Do I need an EICR?
A Landlord needs to provide a safe dwelling for their tenants and has to now provide a Satisfactory Electrical Safety Certificate (EICR) for every change of tenancy.
If you are an existing tenant this has to be completed by 1st April 2021.
EICRs can also be required when buying or selling your house.
